The 5-1 rotation

In a 5-1 the setter and opposite, the two outside hitters and the two middle blockers stand in opposite zones, so there are always front-row attackers in every rotation. When you win the serve back, players rotate one zone clockwise and the player from zone 2 moves to zone 1 to serve. Add the libero to the bench list.

Which formation does what?

4-4-2 is the classic shape with two strikers and a flat midfield. 4-3-3 stretches the pitch with two wingers; 4-2-3-1 shields the back four with two holding midfielders and puts a number 10 behind the striker. The back-three systems 3-5-2 and 3-4-3 rely on wing-backs who defend and attack, while 5-3-2 is a common way to protect a lead. 4-1-4-1 crowds midfield around a single anchor, and 4-4-1-1 is a more cautious 4-4-2 with a second striker dropping in. Every formation loads with realistic starting positions.

7-a-side, futsal, basketball and volleyball

For small-sided football there are 2-3-1, 3-2-1 and 3-1-2 shapes for seven players including the keeper. Futsal comes with 1-2-1 (diamond), 2-2, 3-1 and 4-0 using fixo, ala and pivot roles. Basketball shows the five positions from point guard to centre on a half court. Volleyball uses a 5-1 system across the six rotation zones, and the Rotate button moves every player one zone clockwise, exactly as after a side-out.

Team sheet image and saving

The PNG is 1080 px wide and shows the team name, formation, pitch, numbers, names and the substitutes list in one image that fits Instagram and WhatsApp. Your line-up is stored only in this browser (localStorage) and is never uploaded. Each sport keeps its own squad, so next week you just edit the same list.
