How to use

  1. 1Choose a badge shape: shield, circle, crest or hexagon.
  2. 2Type the team name and founding year; put a sport icon or your initials in the centre.
  3. 3Set the background, border and icon, and text colours, and choose a font.
  4. 4Download the logo as a 1080 px transparent PNG or a scalable SVG.

What makes a good team badge?

A badge must work small: group chat avatars, the chest of a shirt and matchday graphics usually show it below 100 pixels. Use three colours at most, one main symbol and a short team name. Shields and crests feel like a traditional club, the circle wraps the team name around the top, and a hexagon gives a modern look that suits esports and indoor sports.

Colours and contrast

Make sure the background and the border/icon colour contrast strongly: dark green and yellow, navy and white, red and white. Text and the inner line are usually white or a light tone. Use the same colours in the jersey designer and your kit and badge will form one consistent team identity.

PNG or SVG?

The PNG is 1080×1080 pixels with a transparent background – perfect for social media, messaging apps and slides. The SVG is a vector file that scales without losing quality; use it for printing on shirts, banners and trophies. Fonts are embedded in the SVG. Icons are drawn from the open-source Tabler icon set and no real club crests are used, so your logo stays original.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a team logo for free?

Choose a shape, icon and colours and type your team name. The logo appears instantly and you can download it as PNG or SVG for free, without an account.

Can I use the logo on printed kits?

Yes. Download the SVG for printing; as a vector it stays sharp at any size. If your printer needs another format they can convert the SVG.

Can I use letters instead of an icon?

Set “Centre mark” to “Initials” and type up to four letters, for example your club’s abbreviation.

Does the logo have a transparent background?

Yes. Everything outside the badge is transparent in both the PNG and the SVG, so it works on light and dark backgrounds.
