How to use
- 1Enter the decimal odds of each selection; add or remove rows (up to 12).
- 2Set the status of settled legs: won, lost or void (a void leg counts as odds of 1.00).
- 3Pick the accumulator, a named bet such as Trixie or Yankee, or tick bet sizes for a custom system.
- 4Enter the stake per bet and read the total stake, return and maximum possible return.
Accumulators, system bets and full-cover bets
An accumulator multiplies all the odds and needs every leg to win. A system bet places every combination of a chosen size as a separate bet: 3 selections as doubles (2/3) is C(3,2) = 3 bets. Full-cover bets bundle several sizes: a Trixie is 3 doubles + 1 treble (4 bets), a Patent adds 3 singles (7), a Yankee is 11 bets from 4 selections, a Lucky 15 adds the 4 singles, a Super Yankee (Canadian) is 26 bets, a Heinz 57, a Super Heinz 120 and a Goliath 247. Total stake = number of bets × stake per bet.
Worked example with a losing leg
Take odds of 1.85, 2.10, 1.60 and 2.40 with the last leg lost. Doubles and trebles from 4 (2,3/4) make 10 bets; at 10 per bet the total stake is 100. The 3 doubles and 1 treble without the losing leg still pay, returning 164.21 in total; had everything won, the return would be 542.33. A void (non-runner or postponed) leg is treated as odds of 1.00, so the bet rolls on with the remaining selections. Each-way bets and rule 4 deductions are not included.
18+ and responsible gambling
This is a neutral calculator: it gives no tips and promises no profit. Gambling is for adults only (18+, 21+ in some US states). System bets spread risk but don’t remove it, and the total stake grows quickly with the number of combinations. Frequently asked questions
How many bets are in a Yankee?
A Yankee is 11 bets on 4 selections: 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 four-fold. A Lucky 15 adds the 4 singles for 15 bets.
What is a 2/3 system bet?
All doubles from 3 selections: 3 separate bets. You need at least 2 winners for a return. A Trixie is the 2/3 plus the treble – 4 bets.
How is a void selection settled?
Usually as odds of 1.00: the stake rolls on to the remaining legs, so a 4-fold with one void becomes a treble. Check your operator’s rules for exceptions.
How do I calculate accumulator winnings?
Multiply all decimal odds and then the stake: 10 on 1.85 × 2.10 × 1.60 = 6.216 returns 62.16, a profit of 52.16.
