How to use
- 1Add your players and a date for every training session.
- 2Tap a cell in the register to cycle through present → absent → excused → blank.
- 3Enter the monthly fee and tick each month a player has paid.
- 4Check attendance percentages and outstanding subs, and download everything as CSV when needed.
How attendance % is calculated
Attendance = sessions attended ÷ (sessions attended + unexcused absences). Excused absences such as illness, exams or county squad training are left out, so a player isn’t penalised for a valid reason, and blank cells don’t count either. Use the month filter to look at a single month and see the team average under the register.
Monthly subs
The subs table gets one column per month (every month that has a training date, plus the current month). Tick a box when a player pays; the amount owed per player and the collected and outstanding totals are calculated for you. Every player is charged the same monthly fee, so note sibling discounts or bursaries separately for now.
Privacy and export
Everything is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and never sent to a server, so children’s names stay on your device, which helps with safeguarding and data-protection duties. “Download CSV” exports the register and the subs table in one file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets; keep a copy at the end of each season or before switching devices.
Frequently asked questions
Do excused absences lower the attendance percentage?
No. Excused sessions are removed from the calculation completely; the rate is based only on sessions attended and unexcused absences.
Can I export the register to Excel?
Yes. “Download CSV” saves attendance, percentages and subs status in a UTF-8 CSV file that Excel and Google Sheets open directly.
Will other coaches see the same data?
No, data lives only in the browser you use. Share the CSV file if another coach needs a copy.
How do I remove a training date?
Tap the date in the register header and confirm; that column is deleted.
