Online Scoreboard
How to use
- 1Pick a sport – clock, set points and match length follow that sport’s official rules automatically.
- 2Type the team names and choose colors; the board takes on those colors.
- 3Score with the buttons, by tapping the score or with keyboard shortcuts (Q/P +1, A/L −1, Space for the clock).
- 4Go fullscreen – the screen stays awake during the game, and Undo fixes any mistake.
Which sports are supported?
Soccer (count-up clock, 2×45 min), futsal (2×20 min countdown and accumulated fouls), handball (2×30 min and team timeouts), basketball (FIBA 4×10 min, 24/14 s shot clock, team fouls, timeouts), volleyball (sets to 25, fifth set to 15), tennis and padel (15-30-40, advantage, golden point, tiebreaks), table tennis (games to 11), badminton (21 points with the 30-point cap) and a generic counter with no time limit. The board works out set and game wins, the 2-point lead rule and the match result for you.
For grassroots, school and club games
No need to buy a scoreboard: use a phone or a laptop on a projector. Change the period length to suit your league – 2×25 for small-sided games, 4×12 for NBA-style basketball or 4×8 for US high school. The buzzer is generated in the browser, so it works without an internet connection, and the score is saved locally – close the tab and the match picks up where it left off.
How the clock and buzzer work
In soccer, handball and the generic counter the clock counts up; the buzzer sounds once when time is up but the clock keeps running for stoppage time. In basketball and futsal it counts down and stops at zero. The basketball shot clock runs with the game clock, resets to 24 or 14 with one key and sounds the buzzer when it expires.
Frequently asked questions
Does the scoreboard work offline?
Once the page has loaded, all scoring, timing and sounds run in your browser, so a dropped connection during the game will not stop it.
How do I show the scoreboard on a TV?
Open the page on a laptop connected to the TV or projector via HDMI, or cast your phone screen, then press Fullscreen. The score fills the screen in large digits.
I added a point by mistake – how do I fix it?
Press Undo or the Z key to reverse the last action; you can undo several steps. The −1 button also takes a point off.
When is a basketball team in the bonus?
Under FIBA rules, once a team has committed 4 team fouls in a quarter, every further foul gives the opponents free throws. The board shows a “Bonus” flag from the fourth foul.
